Thomas E. Brophy is a Financial Advisor with Strategic Planning Group. A Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) and Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC), Tom provides clients strategies and guidance on effectively and efficiently deploying financial resources throughout life's major milestones. His practice devoted to guiding families, including those with special needs, and small closely held businesses toward successful financial outcomes. Tom brings a wealth of experience in business management from Fortune 100 corporations to startups, including twenty years as the owner of a family business.
A native of Connecticut, Tom is a graduate of Syracuse University, and lives with his wife Kimberly and their three children in the Tampa area. Tom is a board member and Past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Tampa Chapter. He is actively engaged in advocating on behalf of his clients and the financial industry before elected officials at both the state and national level.
Tom is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor of Hornor, Townsend & Kent, and currently holds the Series 6, 7, 63, 66, & 24, 2-15 insurance licenses in multiple states, and the RICP®, and ChSNC® designations.
